Never before has there descended a meteor shower, that lights up the sky like JHOOM 2007. An evening so magical, that it will transport you to the magical land of “home”,. The flavor for the entertainment will be provided by our supporting performing schools like

“Jayendra Kalakendra School of Bharatnatyam, Tarangini School of Kathak, Avartan Dance School, Indian-Fusion Dance Academy, and Nritta Katha School of Kathak Dance.”

We are very PROUD to showcase our very own Evergreen Indian Community, that will be having dance performances, as well as a riveting Fashion Show, that will be a feast to your sense and sensibilities.

Christmas in the Park

December 2007 – “Christmas in the Park” in downtown San Jose representing the Evergreen Community!

Join us in celebrating the winter holidays by decorating a TREE for the famous ‘Christmas in the Park’ display held every year in downtown San Jose. Let us all come together to represent the Evergreen Indian Community as a culturally vibrant part of the San Jose City population!

Theme: Arts & Crafts from India

The ornaments are crafts from the unique ethnic regions of India. Examples are: Ornaments with ‘bandhini ( Indian tie & dye)’ prints or other textile arts, pottery designs unique to various regions of India, Indian bead work, Indian wood toys, Indian dolls etc.
